Antoine Griezmann has agreed a new deal with Atletico Madrid, with the French forward set to stay with the Rojiblancos until the end of the 2026-27 season.
Atletico Madrid have reached an agreement with Antoine Griezmann to extend the French forward’s contract until the summer of 2027 after the player agreed to take a significant pay cut.

Griezmann will be staying at Atletico Madrid for longer, with the La Liga giants reportedly reaching an agreement with the French forward to extend his contract until the summer of 2027, in line with manager Diego Simeone’s wishes, with the 34-year-old also willing to take a significant pay cut.
There seems little doubt that Griezmann will eventually move to the United States, a desire he has voiced in the past. Clearly both Griezmann and Simeone believe he has something more to give though. It will be interesting to see how this impacts the future of Angel Correa, who is out of contract in 2026 too, and has been link with a move to Mexico.
